Is There Someone In Your Life That You Need To Forgive?

In 2 Corinthians 2:10-11, Paul tells us about the importance of forgiveness. He tells that that the duty to forgive others comes from the authority of Jesus Christ. In verse 11 he goes on to say that we are to remain in the presence of Christ and His authority to avoid being outsmarted by Satan.

We know that If we accept Christ as our savior and repent, we are forgiven. That’s the promise God gives us. But it can often be difficult to forgive others as God forgives us.

When Jesus teaches His disciples how to pray He includes forgiving others (Matthew 6:12). Jesus goes on to explain in verse 14 that we are to forgive men as our Heavenly Father has forgiven us.

Satan wants us to remain resentful and let our pain and anger fester.
